My brother Jackie and his wife Cortney were visiting from Pennsylvania, so I thought it would be fun to go see the baby elephant.    We were there to see the gates open and Belle and her mom Rasha come out into the pen, they were like celebrities… everyone was so excited to see them.    Belle spent most of her time by her mom’s side, walking in and out of her legs, she didn’t venture far on her own at all.   The next day on the local news, we saw that a new baby elephant was born and will be introduced to the public!   We just missed it by one day!
